My way of producing, visualizing a track or album before starting is closely linked to how I feel at that moment, season or the experiences I have experienced, hence the name NECTAR EXPERIENCE.
In this specific album I have tried to synthesize a set of experiences lived during my time in Stockholm.
In addition to helping me with software and hardware, there is a lot of sound material captured with my Tascam DR40, which is always with me wherever I go.
Tunnelbanelinj (subway line in Swedish):
Each metro stop is in line with each experience lived depending on the name of the stop.
A set of raves in forests, bunkers and abandoned factories, new friendships, Nordic sounds and reflections of oneself, in which experimentation, lack of sleep and the distortion of the senses come together.
As for the tracks, we have, on the one hand, the Intro, which is a set of field recordings captured at different points, such as inside and outside the subway, outdoors, even a recording of how I entered my house with a sensor that when I open the door welcomes me in swedish
All this accompanied by a drone generated with my Crave synthesizer, passed through several chain FX in Ableton.
Then come the rest of the tracks, in which I follow a similar dynamic, generating the percussion with my Elektron Analog Rhythm and then I accompany them with Pads and atmospheres, in which I use my analog synthesizers or one of Ableton’s own, in addition to always adding textures. and backgrounds with my own library of Field Recordings.
